Call for Workshop Proposals
Propose a focused program before or around the conference.
Workshops are focused programs for discussion, collaboration, and hands-on exploration of emerging areas, held before or alongside the main conference. Workshop proposals should address one or more of the Cross-AI Topics.
We invite proposals for half-day or full-day online workshops for Cross-AI 2026 on emerging research, open challenges, and community discussion. To propose a single moderated discussion rather than a full program, see the Call for Panel Proposals.

- Publicize the workshop and manage paper and abstract submissions.
- Organize the review process and moderate the workshop.
- Provide the final program and materials.
Cross-AI will provide standard online Zoom meeting support.
Papers, Abstracts, and Proceedings
Workshop proposals are archival: accepted workshops submit a final abstract for publication in the Cross-AI Proceedings. Instructions and deadlines will be sent by email.
All workshop submissions are peer-reviewed by the Workshop Program Committee. Paper submissions accepted to the workshop will be considered for publication in the Cross-AI Proceedings, subject to final review and a publication decision by the Cross-AI Committee. Abstract submissions are non-archival: not published in the proceedings; abstract posted on the conference platform and in the Cross-AI non-archival repository; previously published work is posted on the conference platform only.
Media Hosting
Media hosting is available only for accepted submissions. Their presentation pre-recordings, demo videos, e-posters, audio, and other approved media will be hosted on the conference platform and made openly accessible for up to two years. Media hosting and open access are included in the Author registration fee.
Existing recordings of previously published work that are linked from the schedule remain on their original sites and are not hosted on the conference platform.
Complimentary Registration
Each organizer will receive one or more complimentary registrations, with the number determined by accepted workshop submissions.
Travel and Accommodation
For online sessions, travel is not required, and no travel funding is provided.
For in-person sessions, the main conference does not provide travel or accommodation funding for panels or workshops. Organizers and invited speakers are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. Organizers may seek external funding to support invited speakers.
