The Cross-AI ecosystem

An evolving global ecosystem for the future of intelligence

A platform for research, innovation, collaboration, and discovery.

Six programmes

The platform is built from six programmes, each with its own spectrum stop and its own page. Two of them can be taken part in today; the other four state what exists, what does not, and what taking part means in the meantime. Every one of those sentences is on this page, unabbreviated — a summary that hid them would defeat the point of writing them.

  1. Conferences

    Flagship international gatherings where disciplines converge.

    What exists today: Cross-AI 2027 is announced for August 2027 in Silicon Valley as a hybrid event, and two virtual pre-conference workshops run in December 2026 with their calls for papers open.

    Workshops, forums and tutorials through the year, not only at the conference.

    What exists today: two virtual workshops — AIMG 2026 and MMAI 2026 — run in December 2026, both with open calls for papers and submission handled on Airballoon.

  3. Cross-AI Live

    Rethinking how rapidly evolving AI research is shared, developed and communicated.

    What exists today: the format is being run manually — recorded sessions with an open call for presenters — while the platform module that will host it is built. Nothing about taking part depends on that module landing.

  4. Cross-AI Expo

    Connecting emerging technologies, research, industry and innovation.

    What exists today: exhibitor and sponsor conversations for Cross-AI 2027 are handled directly by email, and every package is confirmed in writing. The self-service module is being built; it changes how you book, not whether you can.

  5. Cross-AI Mesh

    A global network of interdisciplinary collaboration.

    What exists today: nothing you can join yet. Mesh is a design in progress, and this page exists to describe the intent and to collect what people would actually want from it.

    A persistent digital environment for the Cross-AI community.

    What exists today: nothing but this description. Sphere is the least defined of the six programmes, and showing renders of a place that does not exist would be the fastest way to make the other five look invented too.
