Propose a focused program before or around the conference.
Workshops are focused discussions and hands-on exploration of emerging areas, held before and around the main conference. Workshop proposals are made against the eight Cross-AI Topics, or across several of them.
Cross-AI Pre-Conference Symposium 2026
The Pre-Conference Symposium will feature multiple workshops, taking place in advance of the inaugural Cross-AI Conference in 2027:

Online Workshop Proposal for Symposium 2026
We invite researchers to submit proposals for half-day or full-day online workshops focused on emerging research, open challenges, and community discussion.

Proposal Requirements
The proposal should be no more than two pages for the main text, plus no more than two pages of organizer information. The main content should include:
- Title and workshop description, including topic, motivation, novelty, and relevance.
- Invited speakers, if applicable, with confirmation status.
- Expected attendance.
- Technical requirements beyond standard Cross-AI online Zoom meeting support.
- Previous events, if applicable, including links to prior workshop websites or proceedings.
- Optional workshop website.
Submission
All submissions are made through the AirBalloon conference management system.
Organizer Responsibilities
Organizers will:
- Coordinate workshop content, speakers, and participants.
- Publicize the workshop and manage paper submissions.
- Organize the review process and moderate the workshop.
- Provide the final program and materials.
- Cross-AI will provide standard online Zoom meeting support.
Papers and/or Demo/Talk Abstracts and Proceedings
All submitted workshop papers and/or demo/talk abstracts will undergo peer review by the Workshop Program Committee. Submissions selected for inclusion in the workshop will be considered for publication in the Cross-AI Proceedings, subject to a final review and publication decision by the Cross-AI Steering Program Committee.
Funding and Registration
All workshops are online, so no travel funding is provided or required. Organizers may seek external funding to support invited speakers. Organizers will receive complimentary registration(s) based on workshop participation and accepted papers and/or abstracts.
